Terms and conditions
Last updated: 31 October 2026
These terms apply when Si Glazing Solutions (“we”, “us”) quotes for, supplies or installs windows, doors, conservatories, roof lanterns or other glazing for you. Please read them before you accept a quotation. If anything on your written quotation differs from these terms, the quotation applies.
1. About us
You can contact us at info@siglazingsolutions.co.uk or on 07549 634032.
2. Quotations
- Our quotations are valid for 30 days from the date on them, unless they say otherwise.
- Prices shown to homeowners include VAT where it applies. Prices for trade customers may be shown before VAT, and say so.
- A quotation given before a survey is an estimate. The final price is confirmed once we have surveyed and measured.
3. Surveys and measurements
For supply-and-fit work, we take the final measurements at the survey and are responsible for them. For supply-only orders, you are responsible for the sizes you give us; we are happy to check them with you before you order.
4. Your order and deposit
- Your order is accepted when we confirm it to you in writing, by email or letter.
- A deposit, shown on your quotation, is due when you place your order. We order made-to-measure products once the deposit is paid.
- Changes after you have ordered may change the price and the timescale, and we will confirm both before going ahead.
5. Your right to cancel
If you are a consumer and you agree the contract with us away from our premises, by phone or online, you can cancel within 14 days of the day after the contract is made. Tell us by email or in writing; you don’t need to give a reason. We will refund any payment within 14 days.
If you ask us to start work or to order made-to-measure products within those 14 days and then cancel, you will pay for work already done and for products already made or ordered to your specification. Products made to your measurements or specification cannot otherwise be cancelled or returned once made, unless they are faulty.
6. Before and during installation
- Please clear the areas around the work and give us safe access, with electricity and water available.
- We protect your floors and furnishings, work tidily and take away our waste and your old windows and doors.
- Some issues can only be seen once old frames are removed, such as rotten timber or damaged brickwork. If we find one, we will explain it and agree any extra cost with you before doing the work.
- Replacement windows and doors are installed to Building Regulations and registered with FENSA, and you will receive a FENSA certificate.
7. Dates and delivery
Fitting and delivery dates are our best estimate, based on our suppliers’ lead times. We will keep you informed and agree a new date if anything changes. We are not responsible for delays caused by events outside our reasonable control, such as severe weather or supplier delays, but we will do all we can to keep them short.
For supply-only deliveries, please check the goods when they arrive and tell us about any damage or missing items within 2 working days.
8. Payment
- Unless your quotation says otherwise, the balance is due on completion of the installation, or before delivery for supply-only orders.
- Products remain ours until they have been paid for in full, and pass to you once they have.
- If you are unhappy with any part of the work, please tell us straight away so we can put it right; please don’t withhold payment for the parts that are complete and satisfactory.
9. Guarantees
All our products come with the manufacturer’s 10‑year guarantee. Its terms are set by the manufacturer and are passed to you at the end of the job. It does not cover damage from accidents, misuse or lack of normal maintenance, normal wear, or glass broken after installation.
10. Returns of supply-only goods
Standard-size products bought without installation can be returned within 14 days of delivery if unused and in their original packaging. Please contact us first to arrange it; unless the goods are faulty, you pay the cost of returning them. Products made to your measurements or specification cannot be returned unless faulty.
11. Your legal rights
If you are a consumer, nothing in these terms affects your legal rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. Goods must be as described, fit for purpose and of satisfactory quality, and our work must be carried out with reasonable care and skill. If something is wrong, we will repair or replace it, or where that isn’t possible, give you a price reduction or refund.
12. Our responsibility to you
We are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of us breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for loss that was not foreseeable. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud. For business customers, our total liability is limited to the price of the order.
13. Complaints
If you are unhappy with anything we have done, please contact us using the details above. We will acknowledge your complaint within 5 working days and do our best to resolve it quickly and fairly.
14. Your information
We use your personal information as set out in our privacy policy.
15. Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction.
