Privacy policy

Last updated: 31 October 2026

This policy explains how Si Glazing Solutions (“we”, “us”) collects and uses the personal information you give us when you contact us, ask for a quote or use our services, and the rights you have over it.

Who we are

Si Glazing Solutions is the controller of your personal information. You can contact us at info@siglazingsolutions.co.uk or on 07549 634032.

What we collect

When you contact us or ask for a quote, we may collect:

  • your name, phone number, email address and postcode
  • details of your property and the work you’re interested in
  • photos you send us, and anything else you tell us
  • if you become a customer, your address, the details we need to survey, quote for, supply, install and support your project, and payment records

How the quote form works

When you send the quote form, the details you enter, and any photos you add, are emailed to us through Resend, an email delivery service. The website itself does not store them. Resend, Inc. is based in the United States and processes the message only to deliver it to us, under a data processing agreement with safeguards for international transfers. If the form can’t send your enquiry, it tells you so and nothing is sent.

How we use your information

  • to reply to your enquiry and arrange a survey or quote
  • to supply, install and support work you have asked us to do
  • to register installations with FENSA where the law requires it
  • to keep the records we must keep by law, such as for tax

Our lawful bases are taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, performing a contract with you, our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries and running our business, and complying with legal obligations. We will not send you marketing without your consent.

Who we share it with

We only share your information where we need to: with manufacturers and suppliers to order and deliver your products, with FENSA to certify replacement windows and doors under Building Regulations, with our accountant, and with the service providers who run our email, website and payments. Each only receives what it needs for that purpose. We never sell your information.

How long we keep it

  • Enquiries that don’t lead to work: up to 12 months, then deleted.
  • Customer records: six years after the work is finished, to support your guarantee and to meet tax and legal requirements.

Keeping it safe

We keep your information in secure, password-protected business systems and limit access to the people who need it to serve you.

This website

This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. We count page visits with Vercel Web Analytics, which uses no cookies and stores nothing on your device: visits are counted in aggregate, without identifying you, and the web address is recorded without anything you typed into it. Our hosting provider, Vercel, may also keep standard server logs, including IP addresses, for security and to keep the site running. See our cookie notice for more.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to ask for a copy of your information, to ask us to correct or delete it, to object to or restrict how we use it, and to ask us to transfer it. To use any of these rights, contact us using the details above; we will reply within one month.

If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113. We’d appreciate the chance to put things right first.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
